Perry Belcher has this whole social networking thing figured out:
Take 10 minutes to watch and listen. (One caveat, he does drop a couple of bombs as he's talking, so screen before sharing with your children. But those notwithstanding, the philosophy of what he's saying is dead on.)

I found this from your link on Facebook. Excellent! This basically sums up in a nutshell my late father's approach to work: Be genuinely interested in other people, listen well, talk less, and help make others successful. I am convinced that growing up under that model is what prepared me to start my home business as a newlywed. My mother gave me the sewing and design skills; my father gave me the people skills. And the results have never failed to astonish me. If you try to "corner your market," fight off competition, and treat every new acquaintance as a business prospect, you lose. If you really love people, give them what they need, and treat your customers like friends, you win.
Thanks for sharing--and for warning about the "bombs" so I knew to watch once the kids were in bed! ;-)
Great Video Mr. Howard. Thanks for the link.
